Google rolls back its decision to block adult content on Blogger

After announcing that it would begin blocking sexually explicit content on its blogging platform from March 23, Google has decided to drop its plans to do so.

The company said that it had received plenty of feedback against its move to block adult images and video on Blogger. Users said that such censorship would negatively impact people who post sexually explicit content to express their identities.

As such, Google will not block adult content, but rather enforce its existing policy against posting commercial pornography more strongly.
